People with this Type, Wing, Stack believe deeply in one way of seeing the world. They have an unshakeable faith that their beliefs are always right, and that anyone who disagrees is wrong or even dangerous. They don’t want to meet in the middle or find common ground—they think compromise is a weakness. To them, their cause is bigger than themselves, and they often feel like heroes fighting to fix a broken world. They see things in black and white: good vs. evil, right vs. wrong. They often speak and act as if they are here to save their country or culture from falling apart. They make enemies out of whole groups of people who think differently. Unlike the 1w9 so/sp who only see things as black and white and want to righteously and even violently enforce their viewpoints on the world, 1w9 so/sx individuals are okay working with the gray areas. They are very committed to their ideas but are also open to thinking through complex issues. They prefer to teach or explain things rather than force people to agree.

1W9 SP/SO:

People with this Type, Wing, Stack are tough, secretive, and realistic. They don’t talk big about changing the world, but instead focus on getting results and keeping control behind the scenes. They don’t trust the public much and believe most people are easy to manipulate. They act calm and serious, rarely showing feelings, and they’re always thinking a few steps ahead. They’re not trying to save the world—they’re trying to manage it their way, even if it means making cold, hard decisions.
